Michael Bay has great eye?

by on Oct.18, 2010, under Breach, Nerd Raging

So I’m browsing one of my movie sites, and I stumble across this movie called “I am Number Four”.  Reading about the plot, it doesn’t seem that interesting.  Its based off a young adult book “I Am Number Four” by Pittacus Lore.  Frankly, I’m not interested in this movie one bit.  What really sparked the reason for this post was a comment section.  Apparently this movie has some associations with Michael Bay.  I didn’t see his name any where in the section of Directors, actors, screen writers, ect…  Turns out he is just a producer.

Any who on to my point.  This un named retard went and posted that we should lighten up on Bay, because he has great eye!  Listing his “GREAT” movies (Bad Boys, Transformers (you already know my opinion on that one), Armageddon, and The Island.  Saying that Bay should go and direct something like Uncle Tom’s Cabin or something to show the world he isn’t just a hack.

My first reaction… LAWL!!!! ARE YOU FUCKING JOKING!!!!

Second reaction… *RAGE* YOU’RE NOT FUCKING JOKING!!!!! Bay has done mediocre movies at best.  Nothing this man has ever done has really been “GREAT” as you put it.  Some of them may be better then others, but frankly he is just a hack!  I will give credit to the man and his special effects.  Though, honestly, he shouldn’t be directing.  You want to go and look up his movies on IMDB? The best rating for any of those films you listed was 7.2 for The Rock! (I didn’t add that on the list but the original post did)  The rest were in the 6′s.  Again stating, the man is a mediocre director, and shouldn’t be behind a fucking camera!!!  Leave him to special effects and don’t let him touch anything else!

Direct Uncle Tom’s Cabin my ass!!!! He’s already raped enough classics (Transformers) don’t let him get into literary classics too!  What made me rage even more was the amount of comments stating that Bay was a “Good Director”.  Thankfully, there were enough people there to tell these people they were all morons and that Bay has done enough as is.

People in AZ can’t drive worth a damn!

by on Oct.12, 2010, under Breach, Nerd Raging

To back up my header statement, I would like to say that 2 storms ago, we had a 75 car pile up going east on the I10.  This caused a huge traffic jam nearly 8 miles long.  I happened to be on my way to work as the said storm was starting.  You could see the clouds and rain moving towards me, and you could also see EVERY FUCKING VEHICLE ON THE ROAD SLAMMING ON THEIR BRAKES!!!!  I quickly got off the interstate and took back roads to work.

The last storm we had here in Phoenix it happened to flood.  Here I happened to see people stopping in the middle of the road if there was any bit of water on the road. In fact I was riding with somebody who is from this area, and he himself whined like a little bitch that there was water on the road.

Maybe you’re thinking to yourself “Well Kevin, That’s not entirely fair.  It is the desert, they are not use to the natural phenomenon that you and me would call ‘rain’, surely you are being to harsh!”  Well let me tell you something then ^_^ ….. /RAGE ,|,, STFU!! I WAS NEARLY IN TWO ACCIDENTS! BOTH ACCURING LESS THEN 50FT FROM EACH OTHER!!!!

I was driving home from work today, sitting at a red light, patiently waiting.  Finally it turns green and some douche bag on a motorcycle wanna be moped cut me off and swerved ridiculously close to my car.  He cut between me and a huge semi barely fitting between the two vehicles.  I had such an urge to gas the car hard and cut him off as he started to move to my lane, if it wasn’t for the fact he would have hit the semi in front of him.  Alas, I controlled my rage and moved along.

Apparently though that semi-truck driver was in a douchie mood too, that or realized way too late that the ramp he was about to pass up was the one to the main interstate.  Needless to say as I am more than half way along the side of the trailer, I see out of the corner of my eye that it is moving closer to me.  I turn and see it is moving closer to me, alarmingly fast.  So again I slam on my breaks to avoid getting hit.  Luckily he hit a red light again before the fucker… sorry “Trucker” (useewatIdidthur?) could take out the front end of my car.

To give a tad more detail as to how close he came to running over the front end of my car… I could have rolled down my window on the passenger side, and wrote my name on the side.  I had to put my car in reverse, and back up, very carefully, from between the curb and his tires.  If it wasn’t for the fact that he could have easily run those monstrous tires over my lil T-Bird and him not feel a thing, I would have left my car where it was out of stubbornness.  Although… Having the front end of my car taken out by a semi wouldn’t be the brightest thing to do.

Needless to say…. I was effing pissed right the hell off!!!  Fuck these drivers! This city’s inhabitants need to learn to effing drive >.<!

Just like in the movies!

by on May.31, 2010, under Breach, Stories

So I get called into work due to a power outage last night. By the time I get here shits gone all sorts of wrong. Nothing to do but sit and wait for the power now.

As I sit here in this large dark building, with just the faintest lighting that gives everything an ominous look, I realize I gotta take a wicked piss.  Only lighting I have is my cell. Backlight gets turn up to its brightest setting as I walk in the dark room. Set the phone face up on the stall as I start my business.

While taking what begins to feel like the longest piss of my life, my zombie paranoia sets in. Comic relief guy goes off solo to do his thing, finds himself in a completely dark room save for the backlight of his phone. Next thing you know a zombie bursts through the stall and I’ve just become a human snack pack.

Come back to the only person who would go before me (duh black d00d), and share my lil bathroom excursion. We share some lols but my paranoia has yet to settle. The movie kick is still rolling.

We have just enough lighting to only see the outline of each other, but you can still feel the lights fading as the backup batteries are drained. The eerie background noises of fellow zombie victims walking the floor, sounds of metal rolling around, various other ominous sounds that set you on high alert.  The worst part is all these sounds are faint, barely passable as noise. Its that soft background sounds that set you on edge just before shit hits the fan.

As we discuss this our maintenance man says he can make it better by getting a wireless saw. Blackman responds with “aw hell naw, then I’m definitely gone”. I retort with “and I personally want him to last as long as he can. Once the black man goes, I’m next on the food chain”

To make it even better we have one our guys here walking around the site.  He has a distinct characteristic about him that if glanced at you quickly follow with a double take to see this man hobbling toward you with a slight limp. My mind quickly reacts with the z fear, as his outline stalks closer.

We sit around having lols trying to suppress this overacting imagination of mine as the juice from our backup batteries feeding the already dim light is fully drained. We decide to walk towards our SA area in hopes there is some lighting there.  Flashlight on and legs marching wearily forward, we pass the entrance of the datacenter… with another of our guys lounging in a chair, legs propped up on the hand rail.

My mind flashes with many different scenes that could be placed here, mostly involving body parts thrown around, hanging from various locations.  Blood all over the wall. As reality sinks back in, I join my fellow co-worker in the dark.

There are loud bangs and thunderous roars, again my cinematic imagination kicks in.  Super zombies!  Lights come on, I turn to see the floor swarming with the decaying carcasses of those who were stuck in the warehouse death trap. Images fade to an empty floor. We go to the datacenter to start powering up servers.  Another roar is sounded as power fails us, teasing us.

So many more scenes run through my head.  Maybe zombies flood the server room since our door is wide open.  Or a suspenseful scene of a body getting thrown around in a bloody mess in front of the huge data center window, just before the power goes again.  I’m filled with ideas as we walk out to the floor.

Back to where we were, only the emergency light batteries managed to charge enough to bring back our depressing and ominous scene. My mental masterpiece has reached its climax.  The scenes come flooding with possible exit strategies as well as the horrific onslaught of living dead, but alas short lived as power is restored and the work begins. Reality is back and my imagination numbed by the task at hand.  I should go to Hollywood and drop this computer stuff =P

Mommies day

by on May.09, 2010, under Breach, Random Shiz

Giving birth sucks, its the life long adventure after that matters!  Though going through that adventure with me as you’re child had to be some crazy ass shit.  I give some serious kudo’s to the women that raised me.  Sure I started off all cute and fat and adorable, but that changes.  I grew up and had a crazy attitude, and aimed every ounce of that attitude at her.  The gal in question managed to deal with my whiny and bitchy ass, continue to raise my two brothers, and deal with the drama of work ect.  We had / have our issues and differences, but she is still my mom.  She raised me well, gave me a home, took care of me, and gave me a set of morals that I am proud of.  I can happily say that I am who I am in part of the way I was raised.  Granted she can be just as much a pain in my ass as much as I AM in hers (hehe), I love her.  She brought me into this world, and with that…. I am here to annoy the shit outa the rest of you!  Love ya mom! Happy mommies day, hope its a good one ^_^

Yes this is a tad out of character, but you know what…. if you have a problem you can suck it <3 =D

“Put it under Herman Munster”

by on Apr.21, 2010, under Breach, Random Shiz

This is really just my over all thoughts of this film.  I am not going into details of the story or anything.

So as I said I was going to get this Frankenstein movie that was based off the Dean Koontz series.  Well, the movie came in some time ago and I was honestly afraid to watch it.  After some time of sitting on my ass staring at the case, I popped it in my PS3 and forced myself to watch it.  First impression….. omgwtfbbq….

The opening scene is on a cruise liner.  I understand that the movies are never like the book, but really.  This one STARTS off wrong even.  We can’t even get the monk temple in Tibet right.   To make it better, that opening scene looked like it was shot with an every day camera you’d find laying around in your attic.  So first impression… this is going to be a very 88 minutes.

To be completely honest, when the movie was over, I was more impartial.  I mean it wasn’t HORRID, was just low budget.  You could tell from the start the movie was very low budget.  Acting was mediocre, nothing over the top great, but it wasn’t Twilight either.  These characters actually had emotion to them and actually tried to express them.  When it was all done and said my only real complaint was that it was rushed.  Too much too fast and never a moment to stop and collect you thoughts over what just happened, just scene to scene to get it over.  While still debating on the movie, I watched the “In the making” part of the DVD.  This gave me some extra insight and definitely helped pin my actual opinion on the film.

It was actually filmed in 20 days.  Yeah, you heard right.  20 fucking days to film this movie.  Thats it! It was earlier today that I realized that this was also originally made for a TV movie only and later on went to DVD.  Though the real thing that made me respect the movie, were the people who put it all together.  You watch them making the scenes and getting the director’s thoughts on it all, as well as the actors, set builders, stunt doubles, ect… They all had a lot of fun.  They really enjoyed what they were doing and played with it.

My over all thoughts were: Sure, its not great acting and was rushed.  The movie looked like it was made with a low grade camera, but meh.  I had to respect it for what it was.  Low budget film for tv.  You can’t get great with those and I still admire the enthusiasm EVERY one had for the movie and their parts in it.  For the length of time that they were able to get this done, again I have to admire them and their work.
